BREWDOG AF BEERS
This Scottish based brewery was founded in 2007 by James Watt and Martin Dickie, who like many brewers started out of their mom’s garage. But what this company has been able to achieve is nothing small. Owning 2 breweries in Ellon, Scotland and Columbus, Ohio, 105 bars worldwide, 3 super funky hotels and employing over 2000 people, it would be an understatement to say this company has grown out of its mom’s garage. The company has also begun a planetary push for sustainability BrewDog Tomorrow & BrewDog & Friends. Oh, and did we mention that they brew over 36 different types of beers regularly, dozens of seasonal beers annually and have been trailblazers in the Near Beer Revolution? Yeah, these guys have done what they set out to do. Prove that alcohol-free doesn’t mean taste-free. We listed the AF beers you can get year-round but be sure to check their site for rotating seasonal AF beers.
Elvis AF - Citrus, Pine, Malty. An American IPA with a bitter edge that will push your citrus tolerance to the brink and back; Elvis Juice is loaded with tart pithy grapefruit. This IPA has a caramel malt base, supporting a full frontal citrus overload - grapefruit piled on top of intense aroma hops. Waves of crashing pine, orange and grapefruit round out this citrus infused IPA.
Punk AF- Hoppy, light, balanced. Juicy tropical fruits mixes it up with grassy and pine notes, all sitting on a solid malt bassline.
Nanny State AF-Malty, robust, bitter. Nanny State features west coast hops to send bitterness to the brink and back. Squeezing in this much hop character while keeping the alcohol out is a testament to the beer brewing craft.
Hazy AF- Hoppy, tropical, juicy. A juicy New England Style Hazy. Tropical fruits and grassy notes mix it up. Oats and wheat unite for a smoother ride. Full flavor, low alcohol, all out New England.
