CLAUSTHALER


During the 60’s & 70’s many brewers were looking to brew a great tasting, low alcohol beer but found they fell short on flavor when removing the alcohol. German based Clausthaler, also began developing a non-alcoholic beer in 1972. As a specialty non-alcoholic brewery, they decided to take a different approach from the competition. Instead of removing the alcohol they developed the ground-breaking method of Controlled Fermentation. This radically innovative brewing process in which the brew’s fermentation was stopped just before the alcohol began to develop would change the world forever.

Original-well-balanced, fresh, and easy to drink, with a creamy feel on the palate.

Dry Hopped-Full-bodied and hoppy with hints of malty caramel. A distinctive malty character with a dark golden color and citrus aftertaste.

Unfiltered & Dry Hopped-a special kind of savory hops is added to the brew after fermentation and left unfiltered. The result is a rich, natural brew with crisp bitter notes, a touch of sweet malt, and a golden color.

Lemon- a bright, classic shandy with Clausthaler’s trademark hoppy lager taste. A vibrant, zesty finish with a light-golden color. Best enjoyed ice cold.

Grapefruit- A 50/50 blend of Clausthaler Original and Grapefruit. A tangy and refreshing treat for hot summer days.
