INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Tbsp. dark chocolate cocoa powder

  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

  • 2 oz. whole milk

  • 2 oz. chilled very strong espresso

  •                   or espresso made from powder such as

  •                   Madaglia D’oro or Café Bustelo

  • whipped cream for garnish

  • cocoa nibs (optional) for garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix together cocoa & sugar in a small bowl.

  2. Gently, heat milk & espresso in a small sauce pan.

  3. Add cocoa & sugar, rapidly whisking, until mixture becomes frothy.

  4. Pour into a mug.

GARNISH: with whipped cream, a pinch of cocoa powder & cocoa nibs (optional)
