Based in the Pacific Northwest, For Bitter For Worse is inspired by Shelly and Jeff’s our long, sparky marriage and love for celebration. When Shelley had a health challenge that caused her to break up with booze, the search for N/A drinks began. Where it ended up is with a three amazing offerings in a line of N/A drinks made by what they call REVERSE BOOTLEGGING. First, they macerate a blend of herbs and botanicals (locally forged Douglas fir folks!!) in a neutral alcohol to extract the flavors. Next, using a still they remove the alcohol leaving behind a concentration of flavor they call the “spirit base”. Next they mix the base with decoctions and syrups made from Pacific Northwest ingredients.
